Our works at the Wilmslow Road / Broadway junction are able to commence next week, following completion of the gas works which were not part of this project. These works will also require the use of temporary traffic signals, including for the first couple of weeks when the islands are planned to be removed, but they will not be used at the same time as at Gatley Road.

This is NOT Gatley Road, as the title says and implies. It is Wilmslow Road in Cheadle, at the end of Broadway. Yet more misery for the residents in the area. However, the traffic lights are long overdue, as it is such a dangerous junction.
Any idea if there will be lights at the end of School’s Hill as well? It is also a nightmare.
At least getting safe crossing more than we can get near Lorna Grove.
